The Bookish Teacher
we bid you welcome!
Who We Are
If you are an English Teacher who loves books and teaches students who also love books, you've come to the perfect place!
The Bookish Teacher is a platform for English teachers who share a love for literature and books with their students. Our goal is to share literature-themed teaching resources that will foster critical thinking & spark interesting and relevant conversations about the literary and the real world - all whilst developing English language skills of adult learners.

By subscribing to our website, you'll have access to new bookish Lesson Plans every month, focused primarily on conversation, as well as an accompanying PDF with homework activities so that your students may practice and improve all four skills whilst learning more about their favorite books, authors and literary movements, as well as exploring the parallels and connections between those and other forms of art, such as music, plastic arts (like paintings and sculptures), etc. Can't invest right now? No problem! Some of these monthly new lessons will always be free of charge!

You'll also have access to our Book Club Planning Sheets (coming soon!) and to our Blog, where we'll share teaching tips, bookish info/curiosities, & so much more!
